Note that the rules
for this program will be strictly adhered to. You can not inform us
long after you have subscribed that someone referred you etc.
Any existing subscriber who refers a
new account to OWT is eligible for our subscriber referral bonus
program. All
of the burden is placed on the referrer and new subscriber - OWT will
not be able to offer credit unless the plan is followed exactly. Here
is how it works:
- Have the new subscriber write "Referred by
username" (with your username here) on the
subscription form before submitting it to OWT
- Only PPP and ISDN accounts are eligible for
the referral program (both subscriber and referrer).
- In the first full month and after the new
subscriber has paid for 3 months service and has returned
the referral form you will be credited the amount of 1 months free
service.
- Both subscriber's accounts must be paid up to
date before credit will be issued.
- The referral credit shall be limited to the pro-rated equivalent of
one months service (based upon the new subscriber's service) with the maximum credit
limited to $20 per customer referred.
- There is no limit to the number of new users
you may refer to us.
- Referral credit will be shown on your monthly
email receipt or bill when the referral bonus has been
applied (you will not be notified prior to that time).
In the first 18
months of this program hundreds of referral bonuses have been issued.
However, far too often we are asked to apply credits retroactively -
this is very difficult for us to do and takes a great deal of
administrative labor to accomplish. Therefore, we will no longer
apply credits retroactively. Please review the above rules
carefully before instructing those you refer.
