One World Telecommunications offers full-service modem access to the Internet in the Tri-Cities area. We are a truly local company - owned and operated right here! In addition to dial-up modem access, we offer high-speed ISDN, DSL, Wireless and Frame Relay Internet access. We offer low monthly rates or you can save with an annual subscription. Or, if you prefer, you can also save with quarterly billing. Don't have a credit card? No problem at OWT.

DSL - Digital Subscriber Line Access

OWT offers affordable high-speed access in Kennewick, Richland, West Richland and Benton City (Verizon serviced areas). Many plans are available with speeds up to 10 times as fast as dial-up connections. Whether you are using this for business or pleasure - OWT DSL service is the highest quality available. OWT has a large pool of modems which you can access at anytime - day or night. We support modem speeds of 9600 bps up to 33.6kbps as well as K56Flex and V.90 56kbps modems. We support shell access (direct to our Unix [Linux] system), Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) or Serial Line/Internet Protocol (SL/IP or SLIP). For shell access or e-mail only access you simply use any VT-100 terminal program. For PPP or SLIP we provide you with a user-friendly graphical installer (Windows or Macintosh) and detailed installation instructions that make connecting simple. Optionally, you may purchase our Easy Internet installation CD which contains virtually every popular Internet package complete with a powerful configuration and installation utility that will make your setup as simple as possible.

OWT uses high quality access gear from Livingston, Lucent and Cisco so that you will always have the highest quality connection to the Internet.

OWT offers state-of-the-art digital ISDN services at 56, 64 and 128kbps. You will benefit even more from this fantastic speed each direction (up to 128kbps upload while downloading at up to 128kbps). Using a variety of ISDN hardware you can access the Internet at blazing speeds. ISDN has recently become much more affordable and the hardware required is coming down more every day!. We offer a variety of hardware solutions and can help you get setup fast. Both dynamic IP and static IP connections are available.

Digital Access Pricing

In conjunction with the Benton and Franklin Public Utilities Districts, OWT is pleased to offer fiber optic WAN connections and Internet access in Kennewick and Pasco. High speed connectivity is very cost effective using this reliable fiber network. Connect two locations on the network faster and less expensively than ever before. With frame relay access you can essentially buy the bandwidth you need to access the Internet or communicate with a branch office etc. Frame relay access is a dedicated connection providing you with a 24-hour connection that can even support mail and web servers. OWT can provide you with hardware and software necessary to link your local area network (LAN) with the Internet. We can also wire your LAN for high-speed network protocols. Firewalls, routers, CSU/DSUs, hubs, Category 5 wiring - we can do it all!

OWT uses high quality gear from Cisco, Motorola, Netgear and Adtran so that you will always have a high quality frame relay connection.

OWT has the only 38GHz license for the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas and is providing high-speed links using the latest milliwave technology. 38GHz connections support up to a DS-3 (T3) connection but we are currently offering up to 8 T1 (each at 1.54Mbps) connections via a wireless point-to-point (line of sight required) link.
