The Anthony Lakes youth ski teams are governed by Anthony Lakes Ski Racing Association (ALSRA) which consists solely of the parents of children on the ski team. ALSRA is an independent non-profit organization. The ALSRA philosophy is to improve skiing skills while having fun. The feeling of being a special member of the team is more important than the finish order of the race. INTERSCHOLASTIC SKI RACING program is for any student that is in high school, Jr. High, or middle school. The program consists of 4 hours coaching each Saturday from December 1 to February 23th , from 10am-noon and 1 pm-3pm. The membership cost for ALSRA Interscholastic Racing program is $120 , pulse $30 for membership in the Oregon Interscholastic Ski Racing Association (OISRA) http://www.oisra.org/
MITEY MITE SKI RACING program is for beginning or returning racers 12 years old and younger. Our priorities are safety, fun and learning. The child's skiing ability should include a strong wedge turn and the ability to ski with a group.
The program includes four hours of coaching and training each Saturday from 10am-noon and 1pm-3pm starting December 2 through March 11. Races are scheduled at Anthony Lakes, Bluewood, and McCall. For those not able to travel to ski races at other areas, coaching will be provided at Anthony Lakes on Saturdays.
Mitey Mite ski team tuition is $225 ($175 for additional children) per season. return to top
The MINI MITE program consists of two hours of ski lessons and snow play for novice skiers 5 to 7 years old, Saturday morning 10-12 am, December 2 through February 24. At least one parent from each family will be needed to help ride the chair lift and to follow the group during ski lessons. To participate in this program the child must be able to ski Broadway with a wedge turn. Tuition is $90 per child .
