In 2010, Rysher Productions was ordered to pay Johnson $23 million in profits for the show and interest. Rysher was also ordered to pay an additional $28.5 million in interest. But Rysher appealed, alleging jury misconduct and that the amount of interest to which Johnson was entitled was calculated incorrectly. ...

NEW YORK (TheWrap.com) - They won't be able to watch every episode right away, "House of Cards" style, but Amazon customers will be able to watch episodes of the Stephen King miniseries "Under the Dome" four days after they air on CBS. The companies announced the agreement Monday for the series from Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television, which will premiere on CBS on June 24. Amazon Prime members will have free, unlimited streaming of all the series' episodes four days after their initial broadcast. DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran's English-language Press TV channel has been dropped from the satellite platform that allowed it to broadcast in the United States and Canada, the channel said. The state-owned, 24-hour network broadcasts world news and pro-government views beyond Iran's borders. Press TV had broadcast in North America on the Galaxy 19 satellite platform. LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - CNN slotted new anchor Jake Tapper's upcoming show for 4 p.m. on weekdays, cutting Wolf Blitzer's "The Situation Room" back one hour, a CNN spokeswoman told TheWrap. Tapper, lured away from ABC News in December, was CNN boss Jeff Zucker's first major hire since taking charge of the network. Now, with his own show coming in March, Blitzer's program will but cut from three hours to two as it moves to the 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. time slot. "Arrow" has been renewed by the CW, along with older series "The Vampire Diaries" and "Supernatural," CW president Mark Pedowitz said Monday. All three series will return in the fall. LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Three men working on a reality TV show were killed in a helicopter crash early on Sunday in Acton, California, according to county firefighters. They told City News Service that all three occupants of the helicopter were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened at around 3:40 a.m. on a ranch with two airstrips that is often used as a location for movies, TV shows and commercials. LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Dick Morris will no longer be serving as a contributor at Fox News, a spokesperson for the network told TheWrap. Morris' contract had recently expired, and Fox will not be renewing it, the spokesperson said. Morris, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton who later turned into a harsh critic for the Clintons, had been a longtime contributor to Fox, but has not appeared on the cable network in recent months. LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Emmy-winning comedy "The Office" will pack up its pencils and staplers after eight years with a one-hour finale on May 16, U.S. broadcaster NBC said on Thursday. Producers have promised that the episode will tie up several loose storylines on the workplace mockumentary, which debuted on U.S. television in 2005 as an adaptation of the British series of the same name created by comedian Ricky Gervais. The deal reunites Costigan with Sony Pictures, where he previously worked for nine years and served as a production executive.
