Rhea C. Ebbelaar 1914-1997

My Mom survived some of life's greatest and most brutal challenges during World War II in Holland before she and my Dad brought us to Canada and ultimately to the United States. She worked all of her adult life unfailingly beside our Dad to create a life for us and taught us the importance of self-reliance and hard work by example. More than anything, she loved good music, great books and bright colors. Her interest in people, music and books set an inspiring goal for friends AND family.
She maintained some of her ties with family in Holland and even tho she was gone from there for nearly 50 years the letter below from a third cousin (sent to the family after her death) shows the effect she had on people even that far away.

We know you are in a better place....... We'll always miss you, Mom
