2 Row Pale Malt........ 8.00 lb

Vienna Malt............... 1.00 lb

Carapils Malt............. 1.00 lb

Perle - 8.9a................. 1.00 oz

Hallertau - 2.9a........... 1.00 oz

Irish Moss.................... 1.00 tspn

 

Instructions

Malted grains and 2 1/2 gal water @130F/30 min

Add 1 gal water @ 200F for 150F/30 min

Apply heat (Stir] raise temp. to 158F/10 min

Sparge with 3 gals water @ 170F

Bring the wort to a boil

Add Perle hops 15 min into boil

Add Hallertau hops 55 min into boil

Cool the hot wort

Add the wort to the primary

Activate Liquid Yeast in Pouch 36 hours in advance

Prepare a liquid yeast starter 12 hours in advance
